Open positions for golf season:

Banquets

Banquet Server  (Part time / Seasonal / Weekends)

Communicate with customers in friendly and engaging manner.  Understand and be able to serve a meal by reading written instructions (BEO).  Work as a team with other wait staff and kitchen staff, including dining room set up and cleaning.  Must be able to bend, carry and lift up to 40 lbs.  Must be able to work long shifts on your feet.  A valid driver’s license is preferred and must be age of 18 years or older.

Golf

Volunteer Starter for 2014 Golf Season: Treetops is actively pursuing men and women interested in becoming a volunteer starter.  A Treetops Starter is responsible for welcoming guests, checking in golfers, helping maintain a good pace of play, completing cart rental agreements, helping keep the grounds clean, up selling resort services, etc.  A volunteer starter must be available to work two 6-hour shifts per week and can submit their preferences for which days. Candidate needs to be out going, good communications skills, and be able to use a computer or i-PAD.  Volunteers will work in exchange for the following: Complimentary golf for themselves and their spouse; $60 gas card per summer; Pro-shop discounts; Meal discounts; Access to employee golf events; hotel discounts.  Also allowed to book one tee time a week on Mon. thru Thurs.

Outside Bag Drop AssistantDuties include welcoming golfers and loading clubs onto golf carts, washing clubs, maintaining cleanliness of golf carts, maintaining the driving range, upselling Resort services, and other duties as assigned.  Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.  Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and be willing to work in all weather conditions.   Daytime availability is needed.  

Golf Course

Golf Course Maintenance: Responsibilities include:  raking, weeding, digging, lifting and hauling.  Maintenance of grass and flowers, bunkers, golf paths and other outside maintenance on Resort property.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., drive a golf cart on hills, arrive on time (6:00 a.m.), and be available to work on weekends.  Requires working in sunny and inclement weather. 

Guest Services

Front Desk Agent: Responsibilities include:  attend to guests upon their arrival at the Resort.  Provide information to guests regarding facilities of the hotel.  Taking messages, handling inquiries and complaints of guests, ensuring the safety and security of all guests.  Must have good computer skills.  Updating reservation and/or package details in computer is required.  Must be available for shifts daytime, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.

Room Attendant: Responsibilities include: Ensure that rooms are clean, neat and tidy at all times. React to concerns of guests, replace bed and bathroom linens, vacuum, dust and clean furniture, walls and drapes. Mopping of floors, scrubbing sinks, showers and toilets.  Must be self-motivated, an independent worker, honest and display high levels of energy.  Must be able to bend and lift 40 lbs. A valid driver’s license is helpful. Must be available on weekends.

Food and Beverage (Restaurant)

Restaurant Server: Responsibilities include serving customers in a friendly and engaging manner.  Recording food orders, serving drinks and food, preparing the check, handling final cash transaction and clearing of table.   Must have good customer service skills, being organized and efficient.  Must also be able to work long shifts on your feet and bend and lift up to 40 lbs.  Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and alcohol service training is preferred.  Must be 18 years or older and available on weekends. 

Line Cook/Prep Cook: Preparation of food quickly to recipes, as well as food preparation including proper storage, dating and labeling of food, and proper use, cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety and knife skills as well as proper techniques in food preparation is essential. Must be able to multitask and lift up to 50 lbs. Position requires availability on weekends.

Reservations

Reservation Agent: Primary responsibility is to capture as many reservations as possible by utilizing effective selling techniques and all available tools.  Candidate is self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused and detail-oriented with a high degree of computer literacy, as well as willing to learn new processes and in order to fuse into a dynamic work environment.  Requires at all times, a positive, upbeat attitude while assisting guests. Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, etc.) as well as quick and accurate typing skills.  Being familiar with NAVIS and/or Delphi is helpful.

Reservation Administrator: Primary responsibility is to assist Reservations Sales Agents, Reservations Supervisor and Reservations Manager with daily, weekly and monthly reservation office tasks to include but not limited to:  Reservation Booking and Guest Folio reviews, Rooming List entries, Deposits and money transfers, processing of Confirmations and Reservation Modifications, Lead assignment and Database entry, as well as standard reporting.  Ideal candidate is courteous, self-motivated and detail oriented.  Able to work in a fast paced environment with the Reservation and Sales Team and possess a positive, polite and upbeat attitude.  Candidate must manage daily correspondences and operational tasks while demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette.  Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Windows and Office as well as ability to type quickly and accurately.  Previous office experience required and professional reservation experience preferred.  Knowledge of the NAVIS system is a plus, but not required.

Spa

Massage Therapist: Must be licensed and available for weekends.

Child Care Development

Children Center Teacher AssistantApproximately 25-30 hours weekly. Responsibilities include direct care and supervision of children as well as planning and implementing activities, including meals, and cleaning of center.  Experience working with young children in a group setting or one year of early childhood education is preferred.  Must be 18 years or older, in good health and with a good work ethic.  Requires flexibility in scheduling and some weekend availability.
