Golf Season (2015)

Food & Beverage – Golf

Golf Tavern and Half-way House Cook and Bartender – Light cooking duties, stocking and bartending.

Beverage Cart Attendant – Providing refreshments to customers during their golf rounds, from a beverage cart, in a friendly and engaging manner.

Delivery and Cart Set-up Attendant  Seasonal work. Assist with putting away food and beverage product. Stocking of beverage carts in the morning. Some driving is required. Must be able to bend and lift 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Food & Beverage – Restaurant

Restaurant Server– Recording food orders, serving food and drinks, preparing the check, handling final cash transactions and clearing the table.

Restaurant Bartender- Serving drinks and food, handling cash transactions.  Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and alcohol service training is required.

Restaurant Bar-back – Assists bartender in greeting, seating and serving guests and clearing tables, basic prep work behind the bar, clearing away and washing empty glasses.

Food & Beverage – Culinary

Line Cook – Preparation of food quickly to recipe and closing of the restaurant.

Steward – Washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors and trash removal.


Banquet Captain -  Banquet server who also runs pre-meal meetings, diagrams and assigns duties, billing and gratuity allocations.  Must understand written instructions (BEO).

Banquet Bartender – Responsible for proper sale, consumption, and distribution of alcoholic beverages (including checking I.D.), restocking and helping with banquet room set up and cleaning.

Golf Shops

Golf Shop Assistant – Handling the opening and closing procedures, checking in golfers, answering phones, making tee times, assisting with merchandising and excellent customer service.

Starter/Ranger – Greeting guests, keeping the tee sheet order, completing cart rental agreements, monitoring  pace of play, keeping grounds clean and other assigned duties.

Volunteer Starters – Welcoming and checking in guests, maintaining pace of play, cart rental agreements, cleaning grounds and other assigned duties. Work in exchange for complimentary seasonal benefits.

Golf Course Maintenance

Outside Resort Property Maintenance – Raking, weeding, digging, lifting and hauling, maintenance of grass and flower beds, bunkers, golf paths and other assigned duties.

Building Maintenance

Building Maintenance Engineer – Repair and general maintenance of property facilities as well as guest rooms.  Must have a valid drivers license.  Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.      


Room Attendant – Ensuring guest rooms are clean, neat and tidy at all times. Includes replacing bed and bathroom linens, vacuuming, mopping floors and bathroom cleaning.

Room Checker – Thoroughly checking rooms before guests are allowed to check in to them as well as cleaning rooms when not checking them.

Public Space Attendant – Cleaning and maintaining all public areas including restrooms, lobbies and pool areas and taking care of guest requests.

Golf Course Attendant – Cleaning and maintaining golf outlet shops and golf bathrooms.

House Attendant – Stripping beds, retrieving garbage and linen from Room Attendant’s carts, stocking storage rooms, vacuuming hallways, transporting of linens to and from laundry and garbage to dumpsters and other assigned duties.

Guest Services

Front Desk Agent – Attending to guests needs from the time they arrive until the time they leave.  Computer skills required for check-in and out of guests.

Night Auditor – Handling the daily/overnight accounting procedures and any front desk guest issues during the overnight period.


Reservation Agent – Capture sales from incoming and outgoing calls by utilizing selling techniques effectively.  Requires excellent computer skills and an upbeat attitude.

Child Care Development

Camp Sylvan Counselors – The planning and implementing of activities for the children attending the summer camp.

Lead Teacher in Child Care Center – Provide direct care, wellbeing and safety of children in accordance with state licensing requirements.  Monthly planning and implementation of daily activities.  Must have Early Childhood Education and experience.

Day Care Teacher Assistant – Attending to the needs of preschool children, including meals, play, learning and the cleaning of the Center.
