Gaylord's premier original summer day camp where summer memories are made!

          Since it opened at Treetops Resort in 1991 over two decades ago, school age children (5-12 years) have been building memories at Camp Sylvan. This year Camp Sylvan opens June 10th and operates through August 23rd, 2013.

Whether it's ...

1. Swimming twice a week at one of the resort's pools (lifeguard always on duty)
2. Learning the basics of golf with instruction from one of Treetops golf pros
3. Nature exploration through the woods and hills at Treetops
4. Hanging out with friends in a natural setting
5. Exploring the thrill of new places and things while on a Camp Sylvan field trip …… there's no better place for summertime fun!

We maintain a simple, successful camp philosophy.

          Camp Sylvan campers are offered opportunities for personal growth, making gains in skill development and increasing positive self image through both fun and educational activities in a beautiful, natural setting.

          Each camper engages in creative arts, science, reading and writing activities, and explores new places on regular field trips as well as active sports activities such as swimming, golf, hiking and group games.

          Experienced and knowledgeable staff will assist your child in arts and crafts, games, sports, drama and literature activities.

Meet the camp staff!

          Sheila enters her 22nd year as Camp Sylvan administrator this summer. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Ecology as well as numerous training workshops helps to make camp a well rounded program.

Season, days, hours.

• Camp begins June 10  and runs through August 23, 2013
• Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

          Children may attend for one week or all summer. Part time campers are also welcome. Discounts are given for full summer tuition paid by May 1.

*Camp Sylvan is state Licensed and eligible to recieve Dept. of Human Services payments.

• $110 weekly

  • M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Lunch & snack included

Option 2

• $125 weekly
  • Extended hours
 M-F, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Lunch & snack included

Option 3

• Two days weekly
• 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.: $55
  • Lunch & Snack included
• 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.: $60
  • Lunch & snack included

Option 4

• Three days weekly
• 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.: $75
  • Lunch & Snack included
