Charity at Treetops
Treetops Resort is dedicated to making the world a better place by involving ourselves in countless charitable programs. In addition to donating thousands of rounds of golf, ski passes, lodging stays, etc… we donated in excess of $100,000 just last year (2011) alone to the following charities through our many events held here at the resort:
To continue our mission to help as many organizations as we can, we have developed the following programs to raise funds throughout the year.
Philanthropic Tuesdays and Wednesdays – Join us for golf after 11am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the golf season and you can play any course for the TWILIGHT RATE (twilight normally starts at 3pm). Amazing Race – The Amazing Race is modeled after the popular CBS series and takes place in March. Four person teams run, ski, board around the resort and into town performing tasks along the way. Swinging for a Wish Scramble – Takes place on July 9, 2012 on the beautiful Jones Masterpiece golf course. This four person scramble will help raise money to fund 5 year old Adam’s (living with Leukemia in East Jordan, MI) wish to go to Walt Disney World. Click here for more details on the event. Patriot Golf Day Shootout – Takes place August 31 – September 2, 2012. This event not only honors our country’s heroes but also raises funds to support scholarships that will go to spouses and children of those killed or injured while serving. Pepsi Fall Charity Invitational – Takes place September 30 – October 2, 2012. This event is in its 25th year this year and has raised over $800,000 for local charities over the years.
