          Working at Treetops, I wanted our department to have working knowledge of our golf courses. One evening after work all of the women in our offices got together to play the Jones Course. Now, I have always said that a true golfer would describe the Jones as “the course you love to hate”. Most of us hardly ever golfed, myself included. My divots were so large at times that they dubbed me the “pineapple queen” as the divots appeared to be as large as a pineapple! I agree that an orange maybe or a lemon, but pineapple stuck!

          We approached #6 and all took a break to admire that gorgeous view. We were chatting up all the various golf movies from Caddy Shack to Tin Cup and we paid homage to my favorite classic, Dork on Golf. I then took my turn. The ball seemed to hang in the sky forever and then it landed THREE FEET FROM THE PIN! We all broke the no screaming rule as no one could believe that the “pineapple queen” even made the green! When we got to the pin, we all took photos of me proudly beaming as I knelt on my shoes and praised, “Bring out the Green Jacket, I love Dork Golf!” That is one of my favorite photos to this day!
