My favorite Treetops course? What a choice? The original Robert Trent Jones, Sr. that gave us our Treetops name, the elevations changes and wide landing areas of the Tom Fazio Premier, or the undulating greens of the Smith Signature? And still my choice is the Smith Tradition. Off set from the other courses, it's like playing in a cathedral. Quiet, solitude and beautiful views. Your choice for approach shots are innumerable. Should I bump and run, try a flop shot or just put a little spin on the ball and pitch? All are accepted by the large welcoming greens. Originally designed by Rick Smith as a walking course but carts are now customary, it still allows easy access with no ropes or barriers. A view of #13 bring endless possibilities. I can drive the green, or should I hit a five wood and layup with just a short bump and run? Remembering I need to take into consideration the humpbacked green...These choices are carried out throughout the entire course enabling you to plan your game.

With par three's being one of Rick Smith's specialties, which apexed the creation of our famous "Threetops" course, his par three's compliment this course. I sum up playing the Smith Tradition course in one word, "fun".
