          Over my 15 years of golf experience, there are many great courses I have played but none compare to the collection of golf we have at Treetops. In the collection you have designers Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Tom Fazio, and Rick Smith. The one course that sticks out in my mind when I play them is the Tom Fazio "Premier" golf course. When you are playing the Fazio course at Treetops you are playing the only Fazio course in the state of Michigan. This means a lot to have a golf course designer of Mr. Fazio's caliber in the state of Michigan and it just happens to be at Treetops. It starts off with a downhill par 4, where you can see about 10 miles off in the distance. The #8 par 3 hole really stands out in my mind with a 80 vertical drop to the hole. Just remember to use two to three clubs shorter but don't forget to check the wind before you decide what club to use. There are three par 5's that are around 500 yard from the black teesgiving you the opportunity to take advantage of these holes and hopefully make that birdie you were looking for. Now for you risk reward players, there are two par 4's that are reachable, but if you don't hit that perfect shot and drive the green it will put you in spots that will make it difficult to even save par. Next time you play the Premier just remember you are playing the only Tom Fazio design in the state of Michigan and enjoy yourself at Michigan's Most Speculator Resort.
