         For the past eight years, it has been my pleasure and privilege to call Treetops my working home. My idea of what makes a golf course great are qualities that allow you to lose yourself within the course. Here at Treetops, the Rick Smith Signature achieves that goal. It is a golf course that I personally score the worst on, but enjoy the most. The "Sig" has the toughest, undulating greens, the longest par 4's, the tightest fairways, but more importantly, the most fantastic, picturesque views on the entire property. Holes 10-12 are my favorite stretch of holes on the complex, because sometimes you forget that you are still on a golf course. The Signature is Northern Michigan golf at its finest- majestic views, elevated tee boxes, crafty tiered greens, and your best chance to see some local wildlife. Come out and play the Rick Smith Signature if you want a course that will not only test your game but also enhance your day.
