Patriot Golf Day Shootout
August 30 - September 1, 2013

The Tournament

          The Patriot Golf Day Shootout raises funds for those who have devoted their lives to our country. Theourletter.jpg successful event has included visits from some very special guests who have shared their first hand experience with us. Proceeds from this event will again benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Foundation awards scholarships to children and spouses of those who have lost their lives in the War on Terror. To learn more about the Folds of Honor Foundation please click here. Gross and net prizes will be awarded to the winning two-person teams in each flight for the 36-hole competition. Prizes will be awarded to individuals with the lowest scores on “Threetops”. Also, prizes will be awarded to those who beat the all time closest to the pins during the 8 airings of the Par 3 Shootout.

The Third Annual Patriot's Shootout

          This event will take place in conjunction with The Patriot Golf Day Shootout. Treetops is looking for 10 of the top military golfers from around the country (military golfers must submit an application to play) to take part in the Shootout which will take place on the #1 Ranked Par Three Course in America, Threetops. All 10 golfers will stand on the 1st tee of Threetops playing stroke play with the highest score being eliminated on each subsequent hole. On the 9th green, one man/woman will be left standing and will earn the honor of being crowned the 2nd Annual Patriot's Shootout Champion. This deserving champion will have the honor of naming a Folds of Honor Scholarship worth $5,000 in honor of, in memory of, OR on behalf of the person of their choice.  In 2013, we'll ask each applicant to raise sponsorship money (which will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation).  The 9 who raise the most money will be entered into the field for the 3rd Annual Patriot's Shootout and be treated to the entire weekend at Treetops for no charge.  We'll reserve the right to choose 1 person as a wildcard into the 2013 event. Friday, August 30, 2013

   • Practice Rounds available

   * 9am - Military Am - 4 person event with teams made up of sponsors and military golfers who will be participating in the Patriot's Shootout

   • 1pm - The Third Annual PATRIOT'S SHOOTOUT - Treetops is looking for Military Golfers who will raise money through sponsorships for the cause (top money raisers will be selected to fill the field). The champion will receive the honor of naming a $5,000 Folds of Honor Foundation Scholarship in honor or memory of anyone they choose.   • 7pm - Opening Ceremony - Treetops North 
  • Dusk - Red, White and Blue Glowball Tournament Free to those signed up for Patriot Golf Day Shootout, $50 per person for those who are not.

Saturday, August 31st, 2013

   • 7:30am - 9:30am - Tee Times on Rick Smith Signature and Threetops. 2 person teams will play 27 holes.
   • 6:00pm - Reception, Dinner and Auction featuring Live Entertainment  and Featured Speakers. 

Sunday, September 1st, 2013

   • 9:00am - Shotgun Start on Tom Fazio Premier. 
      2 person teams will play 18 holes.
   • Following Golf - Awards and Closing

Player Registration

ENTRY FEE
$329 per player

The entry fee includes:

   • 45 holes of tournament golf
   • 9 hole practice round on Threetops
   • Opening Ceremony
   • Two lunches
   • Dinner (with an open bar and featured speaker)
   • Tournament gift and prizes
   • $35 practice rounds on Friday and Monday

Special Lodging Rates for competitors will be $79 in the Inn and $99 in the Lodge.
